OGV Trading LLC ("OGV," "we," "us," or "our") operates the OGV Options Analyzer mobile application ("App") and the website ogvtrading.com ("Website"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App and Website.

By using the App or Website, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Account Information: Email address and password when you create an account
Subscription Information: Payment and subscription status (processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not stored by us)
Support Communications: Any information you provide when contacting us at support@ogvtrading.com

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data: Features you use, tickers you search, settings you configure, and how you interact with the App
Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version
Log Data: IP address, access times, and error logs when interacting with our servers
Device identifiers and crash reporting data

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

Financial Account Information: We do not collect or store bank account numbers, brokerage account details, or credit card numbers. All payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Trading Activity: We do not track, store, or have access to your actual brokerage trades, portfolio holdings, or account balances.
Social Security Numbers or Government IDs: We never collect government-issued identification numbers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide, maintain, and improve the App
Process your subscription and manage your account
Send important notices about your account or the App (service announcements, security alerts, Terms updates)
Respond to your support requests
Analyze usage patterns to improve the App's features and performance
Protect against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We use third-party services to operate the App:

Supabase: Authentication and user profile database (stores email and account data)
Railway: Backend server hosting (processes API requests)
Tradier: Market data provider (receives ticker symbols you search, not your personal information)
Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Payment processing for subscriptions
Mailchimp: Email waitlist management (if you join the waitlist)
RevenueCat: Subscription and payment status management

These providers access your information only to perform services on our behalf and are obligated to protect it.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

4.3 Business Transfers

If OGV Trading LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

5. Data Storage and Security

5.1 Where We Store Data

Account data (email, subscription tier) is stored on Supabase servers in the United States
App settings and saved setups are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage
We do not store payment information on our servers

5.2 Security Measures

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and encryption at rest for stored data, Row Level Security on our database, and API rate limiting to prevent abuse.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5.3 Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers:

App settings (trading mode preference, theta cliff threshold)
Saved option setups and strangle pairs
Onboarding completion status

This data is deleted when you uninstall the App.

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Account Information

You may update your email or password through the App. To delete your account entirely, contact us at support@ogvtrading.com and we will remove your account and associated data within 30 days.

6.2 Marketing Communications

If you joined our email waitlist through Mailchimp, you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

6.3 Push Notifications

If we implement push notifications in the future, you may opt out through your device settings at any time.

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect, use, and share
Delete your personal information (subject to certain exceptions)
Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

Do Not Track: Our App does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals. However, we do not track users across third-party websites.

8. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law and take immediate steps to mitigate any harm.

9. International Users

The App is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 18, we will delete that information promptly. 11. Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.

12. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Usage logs and analytics data are retained for up to 12 months, after which they are anonymized or deleted.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or sending you a notification. The "Effective Date" at the top of this policy indicates when it was last updated.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
